I'm Back!!!

I thought I would be diligent and blog every day-at least that's what I thought.  As it turns out,I'm not so great at making myself sit down and take the time to do it.   I was blessed with such a busy schedule, blogging was the last thing on my list of daily activities, and since August, it has been pushed to the side.  My New Year's resolution, (along with keeping my checkbook balanced) was to blog at least once a week.  So I missed the first two weeks in January-no one's perfect. 

Big things happenin' with Red Letter Days Photography!  For the wonderful families and children I have photographed over the past few years, be sure to visit the site regularly.  I have TONS of new boutique products on their way to showcase your beautiful babies.  Everything will be available by March-just in time for Spring photo sessions.  My new home studio is finally complete,  and I plan to have several themed session days this Spring where you can get in on some really cool photo sessions.  Be sure to check the site-you're gonna love this stuff!!!!

For all the brides and grooms I will have the pleasure of working with this season, it's gonna be awesome!  I will be launching two new album lines in March, as well as some other really cool display options for your beautiful wedding photos.  Keep checking the site for new photos!

Tonya's Bridal Session

I met Tonya in July for her bridal session. We had SOOO much fun-Tonya is completely relaxed in front of the camera, and she was totally game for all my crazy ideas. The only bad thing was, the photos were awesome, and I couldn't post any of them until after the wedding! Tonya and Michael were married last weekend, so finally, I can share her photos with everyone! Tonya's dress is from the oh-so-fabulous White Room in Lebanon. We started out at the Belle Meade Plantation, then headed downtown for the fun stuff-we stopped all along the way-Tootsies, The Schermerhorn we even made a stop for a quick dance on the bar at Coyote Ugly! I can't wait to share their wedding photos with you!

Ashley and Neal

Ashley and Neal were married on July 28th in Knoxville. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church and the reception was held at the Fox Den Country Club. Special thanks to the guys at the golf course for allowing us to have some fun on the greens for a few photos! I wish Ashley and Neal the best of luck in their new life together!

Aspen and Jeremy

I met Aspen and Jeremy Sunday afternoon for their engagement session. We started out on the campus where they both attended college, then headed to the county fair for some fun! Although it was scorching hot, the two of them were great to work with and we had a blast! Check out the results!

Kim's Bridal Session

A couple of weeks ago I traveled to Hopkinsville, Kentucky for a bridal shoot. It was really important to Kim that she have her photos taken on the farm where she grew up. It rained the entire trip from Tennessee to Kentucky, but the rain stopped and the sun came out just in time! The farm was beautiful-not to mention Kim! Here are a few of my favorite shots. Enjoy!

Emily and Brett

I had the opportunity to photograph Emily and Brett's wedding last weekend in Nashville. The ceremony was held at the beautiful, historic Edgefield Baptist Church, and the reception was at LP Field, with the most awesome view of the Nashville skyline! I had so much fun spending the day with them and meeting their friends and families-what a great bunch of people! Emily looked STUNNING in her gown from The White Room. These were just a few of my favorite shots. I know the two of them will have a wonderful life together and I wish them the best of luck!
